February 1, 2016 Hello, everyone! It’s been exactly a month since I started this blog and I can say I am proud of myself. I managed to write something every night, no matter how tired or busy I was. It was not a little accomplishment. If you enjoyed reading them, that’s a different story. I am sure you did like some of my post but undoubtedly, some were boring and made you angry for wasting your time. I just hope that it didn’t happen too often. It seems that the weather itself was on my side today – it was quite sunny and the temperature reached even almost 10 degrees, which helped me have two nice strolls into the forest and up the hills and down the hills, even though the soil is a bit damp from all the snow that melted. I had a new encounter with the TTC and I could constantly hear people complaining that the prices would go up but the service definitely went down. For instance, I had waited for a bus for over fifteen minutes and I was definitely late for work because of that. I haven’t heard from my manager yet, but I am afraid I will. On Friday, I was also late and much more than today and I don’t think she’ll take it too kindly. I cannot say a thing though, she’s right. It’s been a huge racket in our complex of buildings today. I found myself with police at the door and when I opened to them, I saw that they were all over the place. They had sent an entire platoon. It seems that a lady was almost strangled in front of my house, exactly ten minutes after I left for work at noon. The policeman who chose my house tried to make me understand that it was dangerous out there to go alone, and he didn’t believe me that my dog would protect me. He should ask Louis who by now definitely hates my dog deeply. However, the policeman’s words made me cautious. When my daughter wanted to go and buy some cans of Fanta at around nine, I was against it. If a woman was attacked in broad light, what could happen in the evening or at night? And to get to the store, she should have crossed an area with no buildings but only forest and constructions and I didn’t think it would have been too smart to do that. Anyway, this has been a day full of surprises and I can’t say that most of them were pleasant. But, as I read in a book, one thing is clear: the sun will rise and set again during unpleasant days as it does during the good days. It is an absolute truth. You have only to wait for the sun to rise up again. It will do it tomorrow and a new day will come and with it new things and new surprises and new encounters. It is important to believe that something new will always wait around the corner. So, I will forget about the guy who concluded that I lack any kind of feelings because I don’t like to meow and utter sweet words and about the TTC that stole over an hour and a half of my life today and I will go out with Rex for the last time this evening, so he could bark and get angry with the clouds: new discovery. Up to now it was the moon and the stars, the planes and helicopters. Now, he noticed the clouds because they were moving very fast tonight. He’s bored, what can I say, and he has to find new enemies all the time. I am starting considering he’s got paranoia. The behavior clearly points to that. But who is totally sane? There must be a bit of folly in each of us, mustn’t there? So, good bye for the moment, and happy anniversary to me! Image below courtesy of Stuart Miles at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Roxana! I do not hate Rex. He might not like me but I assure you it's not mutual.

He doesn't like anyone but me, so I understand.
