Amazon Customer 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read! August 10, 2017 Format: Kindle Edition I loved this book! The characters were great and I loved the dynamic between McNamara and the lovely bookstore owner, Bryony! A compelling read between the drama of a horrendous crime and a budding romance - this book is well worth your time to read it! Amazon Kunde 5.0 out of 5 starsGreat and complex August 8, 2017Format: Kindle Edition Another entertaining book from the McNamara series. Chief-Inspector McNamara is back to investigate a horrible murder. All starts with the macabre discovery made by an old lady and her little dog: a woman’s head tied with her own hair to a hydrant in a remote area. The investigation of the case offers some big and intriguing surprises leading to an unexpected final. The characters are well depicted and especially McNamara gains in human warmth. Along with this or because of it continues the romance with Bryony, the charming bookstore owner. On the whole, a complex and most interesting book. Very strongly recommended and hope she’ll continue the series!
