**** REVIEW ***I received a free copy from the author and was asked to give an honest review. I liked the story which introduces two complicated and likable characters – Mickey and Cale right from the first page. I think that from the beginning to the end, the action in the book moves at a steady pace, showing both Mickey’s and Cale’s perspective. It was interesting the fact that the two characters couldn’t deny their attraction to one another even though each of them had their own emotional baggage to sort through. I liked the inner dialogue for both characters because it helped a lot with understanding what was going on in their lives and their minds, and I consider that the author found this way to show why the characters evolve in the way they they’re evolving. I liked the hero who, in spite of his disability, turns out to be a very sexy and intelligent man, with a certain moral code, although ridden by vulnerability and insecurities. I liked the unpredictability of the heroine, who managed to surprise me more than once. I didn’t really like the way it ended, although I have to admit it was a realistic end. Nonetheless, this is a good story, full of love and hope and even redemption, even if the style here and there might seem less fluent. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a novel that could arouse joy and hope, sadness and despair, love and regrets.
