Hello and welcome to the latest "Indie Author Cooperative" Book Launch Blog Tour. Today we're joining with the erotic romance author Lolli Powell, to celebrate the ebook launch of "The Body on the Barstool"
The Body on the Barstool
New Yorker Erica "Ricki" Fontaine's n'er-do-well uncle has dropped dead and left her a dive bar in a small Ohio River town. With a lousy apartment, lessthan-promising job prospects, and even worse romantic ones, the inheritance comes at just the right time. Ricki packs up her cat and her belongings and heads for the Buckeye State. Now she's trying to change the Top Shelf from a bar known for its Friday night fights into the kind of drinking establishment where you can bring your granny. But finding her ex-husband dead on a barstool at opening time one morning just might put a kink in those plans.
About Lolli Powell
I write mysteries/thrillers under the name Laurel Heidtman and romances/cozy mysteries under the name Lolli Powell. I live with my husband, four dogs and two cats on private land surrounded by Daniel Boone National Forest in Kentucky. Over the years, I've paid the bills by being a dancer, a bartender, a police officer, a registered nurse and a technical writer. (I always say I could never figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up!) I draw on that life experience and my two English degrees to create stories that I enjoy writing and hope readers will enjoy reading.

All Men are Dogs Synopsis
“I love you.” “He loves me.” “I’m in love with you.” “We fell in love.” “I’m in Respect with you.” I’m in Respect with you? Of course, you will never directly hear, “I’m in respect with you,” coming from a man. But those are the words that you need to hear. Those are the words you need to see. Those are the words that should make your heart go pitter-patter. Not “I love you.” “I love you” has a lot of meanings, but many women long to hear that from a man. Those that have heard it usually hear it mostly in the early stages of the relationship, and the words fade away or get lost during the term of the relationship. Many movies and television sitcoms, portray men as afraid to say “I love you,” but women in the real world hear those words so much that it’s hard to determine if a guy really means it or not. All Men ARE Dogs YOU Are the Dog Trainer, explains from a real man’s perspective on how women are the true head of a relationship and how to train him to fall “in respect” with you.
About Rick Fort
Single life, married life, divorced life and even remarried life, this author has filled each of those shoes. Since the age of 13, author Rick Fort came to realize that many would come to him just to talk about their problems. Something about him triggered many to confide in him, ask for advice or just be someone to vent to. Being a song writer that wrote his first song at age 8, he started putting his thoughts to music in the form of love songs. Through the years he continued writing music and the requests for advice continued. Eventually, during the 90’s he started a website focused on “how men think” as well as articles on “from a man’s perspective.” Upon receiving many rave responses from readers, Mr. Fort began to sum up much of his advice for women in a book, All Men ARE Dogs, YOU are the Dog Trainer.

Mr.(Almost) Right Synopsis
Ella is a strong and independent woman getting closer to the big 40. She realizes that she's been wasting her life in a relationship that doesn't lead anywhere and doesn't bring her any joy. Colin has been taking her for granted for too long thinking that she’d accept their relationship as it was just because she’s a full figured woman and she is self-conscious about how she looks, even though not all the time.
Nonetheless, Ella decides to take control of her life again, so she cleans house and starts hunting for Mr. Right or Mr. Almost Right, because she knows that looking for perfection was an illusion. She chooses to start her hunt in a singles bar and there she meets Mark, a man she wouldn’t have chosen herself. He’s handsome and he’s definitely a guy who’s addicted to a healthy life. She knows from experience that such a man wouldn’t look twice at her. However, he notices her and worms his way to her table and into her life.
The problem is that Ella’s looking for a lifetime relationship while Mark’s looking to score. Will Ella turn Mark into Mr. Almost Right or will Mark run for the hills when he gets wind of her intentions?
If you’re looking for a love story that starts with faux pas and a bunch of laughs, then this is the story for you. There might not be poetry involved but love is better when you can laugh and when you can see the real person behind the person with whom you fall in love. Just a thought!

Alan the Alien Synopsis
Alan the Alien goes to the zoo to see some of his favorite animals, but his day does not go according to plan. This is a book for adults to enjoy while they read to their children.
About Martin Brown
I love writing, pure and simple. I write first for myseIf, but, having completed an article, story, poem or book, if I find that other people are also entertained by it, imagine my sense of happiness.
When I am writing I try to make people think about topics, some serious and some not so serious, a mix of humour, social observation, political opinions. I try to write in a way that is both amusing and, in some way thought provoking, useful or educational. My readers have often told me that they really enjoy how I challenge their ideas about life.
My bilingual books can be a great aid to both adults and children who want to practice and improve their English or Spanish language skills and who want to, at the same time, smile about the world. My children’s books, some of which are bilingual, are presented in an illustrative and didactic way and are a fantastic learning joy for the little ones.
There are so many reasons why I choose to self-publish my books, instead of trying to find a publisher. The main reason is that I want the freedom to publish what my readers like and what I want, not have to conform to someone else’s ideas about how my thoughts should be presented. With self-publishing, I have total control over content, style, illustrations, covers and much more.
I am a very happy, positive person. When I see a problem that I can help with, I make myself available. I co-founded a charity in Uganda, Infancia Uganda, three years ago to help and support children and women in a village there. I try to talk to people and to offer advice based on years of life experience. I am about to start a course in hypnotherapy so that I can help people with more serious problems, like anxiety.
My hobbies are observing people, sport, music, travel and music, a lot of music.

The Line Between Synopsis
To their friends in San Diego, Sophie and Neil Beaumont are a successful, happy couple. One rainy night in 1987, that illusion is shattered. As Sophie struggles to pick up the pieces of her life, she doubts that the aching hole in her heart will ever heal. But everything changes when her best friend’s child, Jonathan, is born. Feeling a sense of hope, she has an intuition that he will be a beloved soul she knew in a past life. Their strong connection inspires her to embark on a journey of personal transformation that changes the course of her life.
Prior to his birth, Jonathan and his team of spirit guides create his intricate soul plan. His life purpose is to share wisdom from the spirit world with others, to help them live their lives with less suffering. However, as the result of an unexpected event, he disconnects from the spirit world, and without access to that unique knowledge he was born with, he finds himself at the mercy of his own heartbreaking struggles. His spirit team is determined to help him meet his mission—after all, people like Sophie are depending on him. But can they find a way to help him awaken?
The Line Between is an inspirational story of hope, loss, friendship, forgiveness, transformation, and eternal love. It speaks the language of the soul and reminds us to embrace all of our life experiences—the everyday routine, the miraculously mesmerizing, and the rip-your-heart-out tragic moments—as equally meaningful.
About Beverly Knauer
I grew up with my mom, dad, brother, and two sisters, in Needham, Massachusetts, then Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Other than spending hours playing in the wooded forest behind our house, what I remember the most from my early years is my desire to write; I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was ten years old, when my mother bought me the book Sal Fisher at Girl Scout Camp. I promptly began my own novel, with lined paper and fountain pen in hand, and called it Beverly Knauer at Girl Scout Camp. Okay … not very original. My next book, written at age twelve, was called My Life with the Indians.
After I received my bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, I moved to sunny San Diego, California, where I served in the role of Chief of Rehabilitation Services for the County of San Diego, working with other occupational and physical therapists who provide therapy to children with special needs. I received my master’s degree from San Diego State University.
When not writing, I enjoy wine tasting in the quaint city of Temecula, going barefoot whenever I can, spending too many hours on Pinterest, and indulging in chips, guacamole, and margaritas (frozen, with salt on the rim) while catching up with friends. I like long walks with my pal, Jack—a black Lab—along the seashore, where the crashing waves of the pummeling surf absorb the sounds of the city, providing a means of restoration and introspection, while we scavenge among the seaweed for shells for my collection. My newest passion is crocheting dog sweaters for lonely, abandoned dogs at the animal shelter.
I’ve always loved exploring esoteric wisdom and chose to become a writer to communicate transformative life experiences in the form of visionary fiction. The Line Between is my debut work. Currently, I’m finishing up my second novel, The Soul’s Hope.

Author: Segilola Salami
Genre: Literature & Fiction
Yetunde: An Ode to My Mother is a stand alone book from Yetunde: The Life and Times of a Yoruba Girl in London (1). You may think of it as book 1.5, as in this book Yetunde is slightly older.
This is a heart-warming story about the power of a mother’s love; truly an ode to women and mothers all over the world. It is a captivating and emotional story that talks about love and loss!
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
From the dawn of time itself African folktales have been passed from generation to generation – in a way that’s almost as timeless as the stories that have survived through the same centuries.
Where once the village fire was the lynchpin to the fables spoken around it and from adult to child, author Segilola Salami now uses the written word to do the same – with first novel Yetunde: The Life and Times of a Yoruba girl in London.
With the rise of digital media in this most technological of ages, Segilola goes against the grain and vanguards traditional storytelling through Yetunde. In the same way that African folktales have helped prepare young people for their life ahead, so does the novel by the way of life as seen through the eyes of 6 month old Yetunde.
Nigerian born and London bred author Segilola Salami intrinsically knows the heartfelt stories woven through her eagerly awaited novel. With an undeniable heritage and unwavering passion to pass on the tales, she began compiling African stories to tell to her own then new born daughter.
With interest mounting from Nollywood investors, all talks are still open and enquiries still welcome for those wishing to turn the book into a 3D animation.
Can one night change everything?
After a night out with her best friend Alexandria's world is turned upside down making her re-evaluate her entire life. Meeting, Landon Miller, a powerful businessman and owner of an exclusive club opens the door to a world she never knew existed.
